Dr. David San Filippo's more than 25 years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, cost containment management, mental health counseling, and social security disability issues provides him with the breadth and death of experience to assist individuals and groups asses their particular needs. He also provides expert testimony services in the areas of vocational and social security matters. He also represents individuals in social security disability matters.
Vocational Services
Vocational Analysis: This service provides analysis of an employer's or worker's vocational profile. For the employer, services will assist to prepare or affirm that the employer meets the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For the worker, services will provide information on her/his work skills, occupational information, employment demands, and average wages for specific occupation.
Vocational Re-Employment Evaluation: This evaluation assesses an individual's vocational potential following a period of disability. The evaluation is made by a certified disability management specialist from a review of available medical, educational, and vocational records, a personal interview with the injured worker, and an analysis of the worker's profile with federal, state, and local occupational data. The individual is evaluated based upon prevailing group health, worker's compensation, and social security benefits.
Occupational Analysis: A report of a specific occupation or industry's job description, worker trait factors, employment demands, and wage information.
Labor Market Survey: A survey and report of local employment trends, demands, and job availability based upon a specific occupation.
Vocational Testing: Administration of cognitive, affective, and vocational tests to assess an individual's interest, capabilities, and limitations to perform occupations she or he may be physically capable of performing. Their tests are beneficial for career changes, prior to entering college, prior to entering the job source, or vocational rehabilitation.
Social Security Evaluation: This evaluation assesses an individual's vocational potential based upon Social Security Rules and Regulations. The evaluation is made by a social security vocational expert from a review of available medical, educational, and vocational records, a personal interview with the injured worker, and an analysis of the worker's profile with the Social Security Rules and Regulations.
Expert Testimony: Dr. San Filippo provides vocational and mental health expert testimony for workers' compensation, personal injury, and social security matters.
Managed Healthcare Services
Medical Cost Containment Services: This service provides an analysis for self insured employers, Third Party Administrators, and insurance claims payors medical and disability management programs to identify areas that may decrease medical and indemnity costs. Recommendations can be made for the enhancement and/or development of a client specific medical cost containment and managed care programs.
Social Security Representation: Dr. David San Filippo will assist disabled individuals to apply for social security disability benefits. He will also represent the disabled person in social security hearings before Case Reviewers and Administrative Law Judges. |
